A single shadow quietly envelops the world.
akatasamattin presents the Futureling Trilogy — a musical prophecy questioning the meaning of freedom.
Concept Overview
News floods through our timelines.
Election posters wear the same expression.
Numbers dance faster than truth itself.
Within this modern information order,
a poetic project emerges to ask:
“What is freedom?”
“What do we truly believe?”
The Futureling trilogy by akatasamattin reconstructs a single song
in English, Japanese, and a bilingual fusion,
presenting an experimental idea:
“When the language changes, the world changes with it.”
The titles:
- English version: “A sking what freedom still remains”
- Japanese version: “Jiyuu no imi o tou you ni” (自由の意味を問うように)
- Final bilingual form: “Jiyu no imi wo tou you ni”
Through the torrent of information,
the grip of capital,
and the quiet net of surveillance,
a lone consciousness searches for freedom.
This work becomes a near-future prophetic poem,
drawn in sound and verse.
